AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS
We are College Course Coach, doing business as College Course Coach (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a sole proprietorship operating under a registered fictitious name in the State of Florida, based in Miami, Florida, United States.
We operate the website https://collegecoursecoach.com (the “Site”), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the “Legal Terms”) (collectively, the “Services”).
College Course Coach provides online math and statistics tutoring services, covering K–12 math through college-level mathematics and statistics. Clients may purchase individual tutoring sessions on a pay-as-you-go basis, with no subscription or account creation required. Upon payment, students may access their scheduled session via a secure Zoom link.

These Legal Terms constitute a binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”), and College Course Coach, regarding your access to and use of our Services. By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY DISCONTINUE USE OF THE SERVICES.
We will provide prior notice of any material changes to the Services you use. Updated Terms will take effect upon posting or direct notification via email at assist@collegecoursecoach.com. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Our Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. Users under 18 may access the Services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, subject to the child-specific policies outlined in these Terms.
We encourage you to print or save a copy of these Legal Terms for your records.

1. OUR SERVICES
The information provided when using the Services is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation or which would subject us to any registration requirement within such jurisdiction or country. Accordingly, those persons who choose to access the Services from other locations do so on their own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Our intellectual property
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Services, including all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, materials, copyrights, educational methods, and graphics in the Services (collectively, the “Content”), as well as the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the “Marks”).
Our Content and Marks are protected by copyright and trademark laws (and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws) and treaties in the United States and around the world.
The Content and Marks are provided in or through the Services “AS IS” for your personal, non-commercial academic use.
Your use of our Services
Subject to your compliance with these Legal Terms, including the “PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES” section below, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- access the Services; and
- download or print a copy of any portion of the Content to which you have properly gained access, solely for your personal, non-commercial academic use.
Except as set out in this section or elsewhere in our Legal Terms, no part of the Services and no Content or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever, without our express prior written permission.
If you wish to make any use of the Services, Content, or Marks other than as set out in this section or elsewhere in our Legal Terms, please address your request to: assist@collegecoursecoach.com. If we ever grant you the permission to post, reproduce, or publicly display any part of our Services or Content, you must identify us as the owners or licensors of the Services, Content, or Marks and ensure that any copyright or proprietary notice appears or is visible on posting, reproducing, or displaying our Content.
We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you in and to the Services, Content, and Marks.
Any breach of these Intellectual Property Rights will constitute a material breach of our Legal Terms and your right to use our Services will terminate immediately.
3. USER REPRESENTATIONS
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
(1) you have the legal capacity and agree to comply with these Legal Terms;
(2) you are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside, or if a minor, you have received parental or guardian permission to use the Services;
(3) you will not access the Services through automated or non-human means, such as bots or scripts;
(4) you will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose; and
(5) your use of the Services will not violate any applicable law or regulation.
If you provide any false, misleading, or incomplete information when communicating with us or scheduling sessions, we reserve the right to restrict your access to the Services and decline future sessions at our sole discretion.
4. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than legitimate educational tutoring as provided by College Course Coach. The Services may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by us.
As a user of the Services, you agree not to:
- Record, share, or distribute tutoring sessions without explicit permission from College Course Coach.
- Systematically collect or download educational materials from our tutoring sessions to create or compile, directly or indirectly, your own collection, compilation, or educational database without written permission from us.
- Trick, defraud, or mislead us and other users, especially in any attempt to gain access to sessions you have not paid for.
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Services, including features that prevent or restrict the copying of any Content or enforce limitations on the use of the Services.
- Disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, College Course Coach, our tutors, or other students.
- Use any information obtained from our tutoring sessions in order to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
- Unlawfully impersonate or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Share pornographic, violent, obscene, sexually explicit, discriminatory, hateful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, offensive, harassing, or otherwise objectionable content or images
- Harm, threaten, harass, abuse or intimidate another person in any way or involve images or content that depicts, promotes, encourages, indicates, advocates or tends to incite the commission of a crime or other unlawful activities
- Make improper use of our customer support services or submit false reports about tutors, sessions, or technical issues.
- Use the Services in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.
- Share Zoom meeting links with unauthorized users or allow unauthorized participants to join tutoring sessions.
- Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) viruses, Trojan horses, or other material during tutoring sessions that interferes with any party’s uninterrupted use and enjoyment of the Services.
- Disrupt tutoring sessions through excessive noise, inappropriate language, or other disruptive behavior.
- Delete copyright or other proprietary rights notices from any educational materials or Content provided during sessions.
- Attempt to impersonate a tutor, another student, or a parent/guardian of another student.
- Record or capture tutoring sessions using third-party software or applications not authorized by College Course Coach.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the tutoring services or the networks used to provide the Services.
- Harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten any of our tutors, staff, or other students engaged in tutoring sessions.
- Attempt to bypass any measures designed to prevent or restrict access to certain tutoring sessions or educational materials.
- Copy or adapt the educational materials, presentation slides, or other proprietary content used in our tutoring sessions.
- Use the Services as part of any effort to compete with College Course Coach or otherwise use our educational approach, materials, or methodologies for any revenue-generating endeavor or commercial tutoring enterprise
5. PAYMENT TERMS
Payment Methods
Payments for tutoring services are required upfront before group or one-on-one sessions commence. We currently accept payments exclusively through Zelle.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed exclusively through Zelle, a third-party payment service. College Course Coach never has possession of your payment information. By making a payment, you acknowledge that you are subject to Zelle’s terms of service and privacy policy. You authorize the payment to be made to College Course Coach through Zelle using the contact information provided during the booking process.
Service Structure
Our tutoring services operate on a pay-as-you-go basis. There is no subscription required, and the service can be canceled at any moment without long-term commitment.
Pricing
Current pricing for our services is available on our website or by contacting us directly. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time, but such changes will not affect sessions that have already been paid for.
6. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellations
- Cancellation of sessions prior to their commencement will result in a full refund.
- Group tutoring sessions cannot be refunded once the study week has begun.
Missed Sessions
- If a student misses a session for any reason, they will receive a recording of the class material to help them catch up.
- No refunds will be issued for missed sessions.
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed via a new Zelle payment from College Course Coach to the original sender.
- Refunds will typically be initiated within 1-2 business days of approval.
7. STUDENT CONDUCT POLICY
Expected Behavior
Students are expected to maintain respectful and responsible conduct throughout all tutoring sessions. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Being respectful toward tutors and fellow students
- Arriving on time for scheduled sessions
- Being prepared with necessary materials
- Actively participating in the learning process
- Ensuring the camera remains on during sessions for effective communication and engagement
- Sitting upright at a desk or table (no slouching, lying down, or attending from a bed or couch)
- Refraining from disruptive or inappropriate behavior
Unruly Behavior
- If a student is being disruptive to the class or behaving inappropriately, the parent/guardian will be contacted and expected to help correct the issue.
- A student may be removed from group sessions after three (3) documented incidents of disruptive conduct.
- No refunds will be provided for removals due to behavioral issues.
- Continued disregard for expected behavior may result in permanent suspension from future services at the discretion of College Course Coach.
Communication
Communication with students and parents will be primarily conducted through email. It is the responsibility of students and parents to ensure that their contact information is current and to regularly check their email for updates.
8. TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES
Student-Side Technical Issues
- If there are any technical difficulties due to a student’s computer or internet that hinder them from attending or completing a session, a recording of the class material will be provided to help them catch up.
- No refunds or make-up sessions will be offered for student-side technical issues.
Tutor-Side Technical Issues
- If there are any technical difficulties on the tutor’s system or anything that causes the tutor to miss or be unable to finish a session, arrangements will be made to reschedule and continue learning.
- In the event of significant service disruption on our part, we may provide partial or full refunds at our discretion.
Recommended Setup
To minimize technical issues, we recommend that all students have:
- A stable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps download/upload)
- The latest version of Zoom installed
- A functioning webcam and microphone
- A quiet environment free from distractions
9. GUARDIANSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Children Under 13
- Children under the age of 13 are required to have a parent or legal guardian present during all tutoring sessions.
- The guardian is expected to remain within supervision distance of the child for the duration of the session.
Parental Responsibility
- Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring the student behaves appropriately and engages respectfully during sessions.
- Parents/guardians must provide reliable contact information and should remain reachable during all scheduled sessions in case behavioral or technical issues arise.
- Failure to comply with these requirements may result in restricted access to future sessions or removal from the program.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Zoom Video Conferencing
- Our tutoring services are delivered primarily through Zoom, a third-party video conferencing platform.
- By using our Services, you acknowledge that you may need to download, install, and/or use Zoom software.
- Your use of Zoom is subject to Zoom’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are separate from our Terms and Conditions.
- We are not responsible for any issues, interruptions, or problems that may arise from the use of Zoom’s platform.
- The Zoom link provided on our homepage is for convenience and does not imply any partnership or joint venture with Zoom.
Payment Processors
- We use third-party payment processors to handle financial transactions.
- These processors have their own terms of service and privacy policies that may apply to you during payment.
- We do not store or have access to your payment information.
Third-Party Liability
- College Course Coach is not liable for any errors, service outages, data breaches, or damages caused by third-party services we utilize to deliver our Services.
- We will make reasonable efforts to assist with troubleshooting issues related to third-party services but cannot guarantee resolution.
11. SESSION RECORDINGS
Recording Policy
Tutoring sessions may be recorded by us for clearly defined purposes related to student learning and group session safety. By participating in a group session, you consent to being recorded. One-on-one sessions are not recorded unless a parent or student explicitly requests a recording of the instructional content.
- Group Sessions: The full Zoom session, including video and audio of participants, may be recorded to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
- One-on-One Sessions: Only the instructional content (e.g., screen shares, whiteboard material) may be recorded, and only upon request by the student or parent. The student’s video, audio, and personal interactions are not recorded.

Use of Recordings
Session recordings are used solely for:
Providing missed instructional content to enrolled students
Supporting student review and independent study
Ensuring the safety and professionalism of group learning environments
Addressing any behavioral or content-related disputes
Access to Recordings
Group Session Recordings: Only the instructional portion is shared, and only with students enrolled in that specific group session. The full panel view is not distributed.
One-on-One Session Recordings: If recorded upon request, access is granted solely to the student and their parent or guardian.
Recordings will never be shared with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit written consent.
Storage and Retention
Recordings are stored securely and retained for no longer than six (6) months, unless a longer retention period is necessary to resolve a specific issue or dispute. After this period, recordings will be permanently deleted.
12. PRIVACY POLICY
We care about data privacy and security. Please review our Privacy Policy at https://collegecoursecoach.com/privacy. By using the Services, you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Legal Terms. If you are a parent or guardian of a student under 18, you agree to the data handling terms on behalf of your child. Please be advised the Services are hosted in the United States. If you access the Services from any other region of the world with laws or other requirements governing personal data collection, use, or disclosure that differ from applicable laws in the United States, then through your continued use of the Services, you are transferring your data to the United States, and you expressly consent to have your data transferred to and processed in the United States.
13. TERM AND TERMINATION
These Legal Terms shall remain in full force and effect while you use the Services. WITHOUT LIMITING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION AND WITHOUT NOTICE OR LIABILITY, DENY ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SERVICES (INCLUDING BLOCKING CERTAIN IP ADDRESSES), TO ANY PERSON FOR ANY REASON OR FOR NO REASON, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION FOR BREACH OF ANY REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, OR COVENANT CONTAINED IN THESE LEGAL TERMS OR OF ANY APPLICABLE LAW OR REGULATION. WE MAY TERMINATE YOUR USE OR PARTICIPATION IN THE SERVICES OR DELETE ANY CONTENT OR INFORMATION THAT YOU POSTED AT ANY TIME, WITHOUT WARNING, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION.
If we terminate or suspend your access to the Services for any reason, you may be prohibited from scheduling future sessions or utilizing any part of the Services, even if acting on behalf of another party. College Course Coach reserves the right to take appropriate legal action, including but not limited to pursuing civil, criminal, or injunctive remedies, in response to any violation of these Terms. College Course Coach reserves the right to refuse service to any individual for any reason not prohibited by law.
14. MODIFICATIONS AND INTERRUPTIONS
We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Services at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. However, we have no obligation to update any information on our Services. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Services.
While we strive to maintain consistent access to our Services, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Technical issues, maintenance requirements, or third-party platform outages (such as Zoom or payment processors) may occasionally result in delays, errors, or service interruptions. We reserve the right to revise, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without prior notice. College Course Coach shall not be held liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damages resulting from such interruptions.
15. GOVERNING LAW
These Legal Terms and your use of the Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida applicable to agreements made and to be entirely performed within the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
16. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Informal Negotiations
To expedite resolution and control the cost of any dispute, controversy, or claim related to these Legal Terms (each a “Dispute” and collectively, the “Disputes”) brought by either you or us (individually, a “Party” and collectively, the “Parties”), the Parties agree to first attempt to negotiate any Dispute (except those Disputes expressly provided below) informally for at least thirty (30) days before initiating arbitration. Such informal negotiations commence upon written notice from one Party to the other Party.
Legal Proceedings
If the Parties are unable to resolve a Dispute through informal negotiations, all legal proceedings shall be exclusively filed, claimed and pursued in the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The Parties agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating all such Disputes. If litigation is brought concerning these Terms, the prevailing party shall be entitled to receive from the non-prevailing party, and the non-prevailing party shall, upon final judgment and the expiration of all appeals, immediately pay upon demand all reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses of the prevailing party.
17. DISCLAIMER
THE TUTORING SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF OUR TUTORING SERVICES WILL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COLLEGE COURSE COACH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE TUTORING SERVICES AND YOUR USE THEREOF, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING ACADEMIC OUTCOMES, GRADE IMPROVEMENTS, OR EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS RESULTING FROM OUR TUTORING SERVICES. COLLEGE COURSE COACH WILL ASSUME NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY: (1) ERRORS, MISTAKES, OR INACCURACIES IN EDUCATIONAL CONTENT AND MATERIALS; (2) PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE RESULTING FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION IN ONLINE TUTORING SESSIONS; (3) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO ZOOM SESSIONS BY THIRD PARTIES; (4) ANY INTERRUPTION OR CESSATION OF TRANSMISSION OF TUTORING SESSIONS DUE TO TECHNICAL ISSUES; (5) ANY COMPUTER VIRUSES, MALWARE, OR THE LIKE WHICH MAY BE TRANSMITTED DURING OR IN CONNECTION WITH TUTORING SESSIONS BY ANY THIRD PARTY; AND/OR (6) ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN ANY EDUCATIONAL CONTENT OR FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE INCURRED AS A RESULT OF USING OUR TUTORING SERVICES.
COLLEGE COURSE COACH DOES NOT WARRANT, ENDORSE, GUARANTEE, OR ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE OR SERVICES USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH OUR TUTORING SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCING AND ZELLE PAYMENT SERVICES. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING ANY TRANSACTION BETWEEN YOU AND THESE THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS.
WHILE OUR TUTORS STRIVE TO PROVIDE ACCURATE AND HELPFUL INFORMATION, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT ALL INFORMATION PROVIDED DURING TUTORING SESSIONS WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT IT WILL ADDRESS EVERY ASPECT OF A STUDENT’S ACADEMIC NEEDS. THE SUCCESS OF TUTORING DEPENDS SIGNIFICANTLY ON THE STUDENT’S EFFORT, PARTICIPATION, AND ACADEMIC CIRCUMSTANCES.
18. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Academic Outcomes
The outcome as it pertains to grades and grasping the material relies heavily on the student’s effort and College Course Coach is not liable for any academic outcomes of a student.
Location and Online Incidents
College Course Coach is not liable for any incident that occurs at the location of the student. College Course Coach is not liable for any incident that occurs or a student might have experienced online.
19. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective officers, agents, partners, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of: (1) your Contributions; (2) use of the Services; (3) breach of these Legal Terms; (4) any breach of your representations and warranties set forth in these Legal Terms; (5) your violation of the rights of a third party, including but not limited to intellectual property rights; or (6) any overt harmful act toward another user of the Services with whom you have connected, or any disruptive behavior that interferes with the proper functioning of the Services. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate, at your expense, with our defense of such claims. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of any such claim, action, or proceeding which is subject to this indemnification upon becoming aware of it.
20. MISCELLANEOUS
These Legal Terms and any policies or operating rules posted by us on the Services or in respect to the Services constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Legal Terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. These Legal Terms operate to the fullest extent permissible by law. We may assign any or all of our rights and obligations to others at any time. We shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, delay, or failure to act caused by any cause beyond our reasonable control. If any provision or part of a provision of these Legal Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision or part of the provision is deemed severable from these Legal Terms and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. There is no joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship created between you and us as a result of these Legal Terms or use of the Services. You agree that these Legal Terms will not be construed against us by virtue of having drafted them. You hereby waive any and all defenses you may have based on the electronic form of these Legal Terms and the lack of signing by the parties hereto to execute these Legal Terms.
